No not this JZX100, Chasers are awesome.this is just a thumbnail image to guard those who don’t dare gaze upon the image that follows. Horror after the jump.
This is what bad choices looks like.
A chopped, 2 door, PT, with early RSX headlights, hood that’s shaped like tongue, some random red fins in the grille. And what looks like a later TSX grill as a lower bumper grille. Oh and some trash 20" wheels to round things out. I’m guessing this is just the primer, we can only assume it was later covered in some nasty air brushed flames, with skull throwing in for good measure.
Edit:reverse image search brought me to a Pinterest account call offdahookwhipz... the onion update for this car is, it is now painted powder pink...

That’s a Mark 2 not a Chaser.

When it comes to JZX cars you can have either:
Mark 2: Entry level
Chaser: Sport
Cresta: Luxury
All the same car underneath just differing appearances and interiors.

Okay. I was a bit confused about that, all I knew was that they were all commonly referred to as JZX100. with three variations like that I can see why enthusiasts would just call them by their chassis designation.

Holy hell the proportions of that thing are just terrible.
I did a reverse image search to see the front, it can never be unseen.

The entire Mohs line was, well, Ostentacienne.

It’s weird that they are categorized by that but they were all available in the same trims. Like all had a Tourer V with equal hardware and options on each.

Well they ARE like you said according to how Toyota sells them but strangely they don’t really match up. Like the Mark II can be as sporty as the Chaser and get all the same options and everything.
The production numbers for the JZX100 Tourer V are higher though than the Mark II or Cresta equivalent with more manual transmissions. Oddly the JZX90 the Mark II was the most available with sporty options. Though I think this has more to do with both car in their respective generation being the “best looking” one.
